Karolína Prušáková competed in the first round of Channel Star 2018 in the village of Zduchovice on April 13-15, 2018. The championship sees contestants compile points throughout the season, which is concluded by the September finals.
Interestingly, 2018 marked the first year Karolína competed with a full-sized horse, saddling a mare called Pem. Not only did Karolína and Pem come in third in the ZL category. The duo also grabbed points in the Children category for finishing second. What is more, although this year is the first Karolína rides on top of Altamiro C, a pony, the pair shone in the LP category where they finished first. This meant that Karolína could transfer full points into the Middle Tour category.
The second round of Channel Star took place on May 25-27, 2018. It turned out to be a highly successful event for Karolína and her four-legged partners.
Karolína and Pem competed in each of the three 110-centimeter ZL category sessions, ending up first on each of the days including Saturday (when a total of 64 horses participated). These points helped her to climb to the top of the Children category championship standings. Karolína also shone in the saddle of Altamiro C, a pony, in the SP category contests, finishing first in the Saturday session and fifth in the Sunday session.
Karolína is to take part in the next round of Channel Star in June and we are eager
to see if her passion translates into additional points.
