The FVE Smiřice photovoltaic power plant lies between Hradec Králové and Jaroměř commenced its operations and on December 15th, 2009 it held its ceremonial opening. PVP Smiřice: 6.1 MWp power plant built in just 9 months
The building permit for the first stage of the power plant was issued on March 25th , 2009. During the 1st stage solar panels with a total output of installed 3.2 MW were installed on the 8 ha lot. Second development stage installed panels with a total output of 2.8 MWp on the neighboring 7.2 ha lot by the end of 2009. Currently there are solar panels installed that total almost 6.1 MWp.
